CONNECT - GROW - SERVE

At St. Peter A.M.E. Church, we want people to connect to God through Jesus, to grow as they follow Jesus, and to serve Jesus from the heart.

Please read the descriptions of the different Ministries at St. Peter A.M.E. Church. We ask that you pray, take the Spiritual Gifts Survey, and consider where your gifts might best be used for God’s glory.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. (1 Peter 4:10 NIV)

Stewardship

Christian Stewardship refers to the responsibility that Christians have in maintaining and using wisely the gifts that God has bestowed. God wishes human beings to be his collaborators in the work of creation, redemption and sanctification. MORE

Love

Throughout Jesus's earthly ministry, He showed His love for others by blessing and serving the poor, the sick, and the distressed. He told His disciples, “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you” (John 15:12)

Serve

For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. (Matthew 20:28)

Young People's Department (YPD)

The YPD provides meaningful training opportunities on all areas of church life in order to enable children and youth to fully participate in the total mission of the church.
