Reverend Jeremy D. Jones

Senior Pastor

The Reverend Jeremy D. Jones, the 3rd child born to Albert Jones and Mary Harrison. He is a proud native of Forrest City, AR. He serves as the Senior Pastor of St. Peter A.M.E. Church in McGehee, Arkansas. Rev. Jones is a product of Jones Temple Church of God in Christ where Superintendent Alvin Coleman Sr. serves as pastor; Christian Redeeming Spiritual Church #1 where Rev. Barry Phillips serves as pastor, and Bethel A.M.E. Church where Dr. Tyrone Broomfield serves as pastor.


Reverend Jones received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, a Master of Arts Degree in Education from the University of Arkansas at Monticello; he is currently enrolled in the Ed.S program of Educational Leadership at the Arkansas State University.


Starting his senior year of high school, Reverend Jones begin serving his country in the United States Army National Guard for a total of 5 years and was discharged honorably.


Through an inspiring dream and confirmation, in 2014 Rev. Jones became a member of the A.M.E. Church by joining Bethel A.M.E. Church located in North Little Rock, AR where he served proudly under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Tyrone A. Broomfield. Rev. Jones is a catalyst for positive change through his dedication to teaching the scriptures and working for kingdom building, working with the homeless, youth, young adults, and elderly.


Enjoying the life of an AME, Rev. Jones found his way to make a difference in the 12th Episcopal District by joining the ministry. With a passion for young adults, Rev. Jones sought to grow the young adult ministry known as the Richard Allen Young Adult Council. As a result of Rev. Jeremy Jones leadership in ministry, he received the God’s Man of Standard Man of The Year Award from Dare to be Different Ministries under the leadership of Elder Deon White.


Rev. Jones has a strong passion and desire for evangelism. He proclaims Matthew 20:28 is a key to reaching lost souls his ultimate desire is for God’s people to embrace the love of Christ and walk in power and victory while experiencing the promises of God. Rev. Jeremy Jones believes in helping others and advancing the community physically, spiritually, mentally, and financially by providing healthy ways of living.



Rev. Jones recently served 5 years in law enforcement and currently serves the community of Jonesboro as a Special Education Math Teacher in the Nettleton School District. Rev. Jones has worked with youth in the church, school, and within the community as a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc and other mentorship organizations.


Reverend Jeremy Jones is supported in ministry by his wife Shiandra Jones and their 4 children.


Rev. Jeremy D. Jones lives by Isaiah 54:17~ "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn."
